| Mrs. Sarah Sandiford, former English teacher at MHS, announced that
her novel Lords of Eden has been published. The novel is set on
the banks of Louisiana's Black River. Local folks will recognize place
names in the work of fiction such as Jonesville, Trinity, and the lower
Black River. A book signing for The Lords of Eden hosted by
Mrs. Sandiford well be held on February 18, 2006 at Barnes & Noble, 1057
East County Line Road in Jackson, Mississippi between the hours of 1:00
and 3:00 p.m. She will present a book talk/signing at the Greenwell
Springs Regional Library in Baton Rouge on February 16th at 1:00 p.m.
