6th - 11th Awards day - Reschedule

The 6th - 11th awards program will be on Wednesday, May 12 at 1 pm. We will have it on Facebook live since parents will not be able to attend due to COVID.

Graduation for Seniors - Possible rescheduling

If the MHS baseball boys win tomorrow (May 11th), they will play again on Saturday at 10 am. Therefore, graduation will be moved to either Saturday, May 15 at 7 pm or Sunday, May 16 at 1 pm. (It will be in the parking lot or the gym depending on weather.)

2021 Summer Bridge Program - June 2-30, 2021 - Click to register your child

Concordia Parish School Board is excited to announce the Concordia Summer Bridge program. This program will help bridge the gap for students' learning loss due to Covid-19 along with offering exciting extracurricular activities in a camp-like environment. This program will be offered at each school site at no cost to parents.

Pre-K Online Registration Information

Please make sure you sign up in the 2122 School year and choose Monterey High School when you register. If you need help registering, please contact Melissa Doughty for an appointment.

Reminder: 4 day week with Virtual Friday

All students are given virtual work to complete on Fridays. If needed, contact your teacher to come to school on Friday for extra help. Friday is still counted as a school day and work needs to be completed. Assignments are either given in written form or put on google classroom or can be accessed through CLEVER.

Attention: ESSA mandates

In compliance with the mandates of ESSA, parents have the right to request information on the personal qualifications of their child's teachers. If you want to request a meeting to discuss any concerns about teacher or paraprofessional qualifications, please call the school to schedule a conference time.

Gates will open 45 minutes prior to game time.

Price $7.00 per ticket - First come first serve to spectators. MHS will presale 2 tickets to each basketball family beginning 3 days prior to game day. No presale tickets will be sold on Game Day.

Gym COVID Capacity total is 120 spectators. Visiting team will have 30 tickets and the Home team will have 90 tickets. (25% and 75%) Infants/small children are included in this count. Everyone will be charged for admittance.

Coaching cards must be honored UNLESS gym is at full capacity. This pertains to those who are not affiliated with either team staff. EX: Scouts, coaches of teams not participating, etc.

No support squads will participate/travel to away games.

Teams should come dressed to play for the game.

Players must have their own water bottles.

All fans will be seated on the north side(cafeteria) of the gym. Players, coaches, administrators, other essential personnel will be on the south side (office).

Masks are required and must be worn at all times.

Temperature will be checked upon entering the gym. Anyone with temperature 100.4 and over will not be allowed.

Concessions will be available.

No outside food or drinks will be allowed.
