MONTEREY HIGH SCHOOL MONTEREY, LA ATHLETIC EVENT GUIDELINES AT MHS (PER CDC, STATE, & DISTRICT POLICIES)

Gates will open 45 minutes prior to game time.

Price $7.00 per ticket - First come first serve to spectators. MHS will presale 2 tickets to each basketball family beginning 3 days prior to game day. No presale tickets will be sold on Game Day.

Gym COVID Capacity total is 120 spectators. Visiting team will have 30 tickets and the Home team will have 90 tickets. (25% and 75%) Infants/small children are included in this count. Everyone will be charged for admittance.

Coaching cards must be honored UNLESS gym is at full capacity. This pertains to those who are not affiliated with either team staff. EX: Scouts, coaches of teams not participating, etc.

No support squads will participate/travel to away games.

Teams should come dressed to play for the game.

Players must have their own water bottles.

All fans will be seated on the north side(cafeteria) of the gym. Players, coaches, administrators, other essential personnel will be on the south side (office).

Masks are required and must be worn at all times.

Temperature will be checked upon entering the gym. Anyone with temperature 100.4 and over will not be allowed.

Concessions will be available.

No outside food or drinks will be allowed.

A parent or guardian MUST be the one to pick up the chromebook. If you have students in multiple grade levels, come on the day for your oldest student.

High School: Wednesday, September 9

3:30pm - 5:30pm


Junior High: Thursday, September 10

3:30pm - 5:30pm


Elementary Grades 3-5: Friday, September 11

1:00pm - 3:00pm


If you are unable to come for the above times, you may pick up your student’s chromebook on Monday, September 14 from 3:30pm-5:30pm
