Ethan Clark, a first
grade student in Mrs. Teresa Tiffee’s class is
considered a top reader having read 210 books and
counting since the beginning of school. The students
read at home to someone and that person is to write a
note giving the title of the book and their signature.
Mrs. Tiffee puts a sticker on a chart for every book the
students read. For every ten books read, the students
get a prize from the treasure chest. When they reach
100, they get a prize and a certificate. The class as a
whole has read 1,106 books! Way to go first grade!

City Run for the Kids event held in Natchez, February
27.
